Arrived in Rome

This is my second visit to Rome; the less said, the better about my first encounter. We caught the express train from da Vinci airport which took about 35 minutes and was super efficient. Our accommodation is in the Generator hostel which is less than 10 minutes walk from the Roma Termini. It's an old budget hotel that has been given a makeover to create a cool industrial look. The cafe and the bar are especially hip! The reception staff are super friendly and very down to earth; who needs five star hotel!
We went for a brief walk last night in the area around the hotel. Santa Maria Maggiore looked especially beautiful. My parents didn't completely waste all their money on 13 years of Catholic schooling.
